Grapes

Some believe that eating the juice that comes from grapes that have been ripened is one of the best and most effective remedy for migraine headaches. All you need to do is to grind the grapes that are ripe and drink the juices. Make sure not to water the juice down with water or other types of liquid.

Niacin

Niacin has been proven over the years to be very effective when helping to relieve the pain caused by migraine headaches. This particular type of vitamin can be found in green leafy vegetables, whole wheat, yeast, nuts, tomatoes, liver, fish, and sunflower seeds. If you do not eat enough of these foods you can also take special Vitamin I complex tablets that contain around 100 mg of niacin.

Cabbage Leaf Compress

This is probably one of the most unusual migraine headache remedy – but it is proven to be quite effective for many people. To make the compress crush a few cabbage leaves and place them inside of a clean cloth. Place the cloth on the forehead and leave it there for a long period of time. It works better if the leaves are fresh.

Lemons

For this remedy you will only need to use the crust of the lemons. Grind up the crust and apply it to your forehead like a paste. This particular remedy has been around for many years and is said to help dull the pain that migraines headaches cause.

Vegetable Juices

Drinking nothing but the juice from vegetables is not only able to cure your migraine headache – but help you to get into shape. You can use carrots, spinach, beets, and cucumbers. Mix them together in a blender and drink them straight without adding any other type of liquid.
